Measure Existing & Future Demands on Family & Youth Services

Health Outcomes International (HOI), in association with CPD Biz Consulting undertook the consultancy with the Department of Human Services to measure existing and future demands on Family and Youth Services (FAYS). The tasks completed in the course of the consultancy included; a workload analysis of FAYS which identified the areas of concern and measured past and anticipated service demands; the analysis of socioeconomic and trend data with respect to social need and the consequent workload pressures that result for FAYS; reviewed the way that services were being delivered, and ensured appropriate integration existed between relevant agencies, recommended a workload management tool and funding model; and presented a final report on the findings and recommendations which emerged from the analysis. HOI brought to the team particular expertise in the fields of financial modeling, data analysis and workflow management.
