Health Outcomes International (HOI) was commissioned in 2006 a process and impact evaluation of the Better Skills, Best Care Service-wide Projects. The project involved the provision of expert technical advice, support and training in program evaluation; the development of an evaluation framework; conduct of evaluation training workshops; collection and analysis of data relating to defined service-wide health workforce design pilot projects currently being implemented in rural and metropolitan health services and the preparation of summary reports and the final report outlining the findings of the evaluation.
