Specific Competence:

jacJacqui graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2007 with a Bachelor of Media Studies. From 2007 to the end of 2008, Jacqui was employed as a marketing consultant and project coordinator at Via Media Communications where she worked on projects for clients including DTEI, DFEEST, Arts SA and the Cancer Council of South Australia.

Jacqui has had over 7 years’ experience working in community pharmacy and since joining HOI, has been involved in a variety of projects, including:

  • The evaluation of two community pharmacy programs; the Dose Administration Aids and Patient Medication Profiling;
  • Developing the evaluation framework and conducting stakeholder consultations for the Evaluation of the Positive Futures Initiative for the Department of Communities (Disability Services);
  • Assisting to develop the evaluation plan for the South Australian Better Health Initiative;
  • Conducting consultations with State and Territory OATSIH Offices, State and Territory Departments of Health, NACCHO Affiliates, Technical Experts, service provider staff for the development of a mental health toolkit and health practitioners working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples;
  • Leading a research team of twelve staff to conduct over 2000 interviews of carers and clients of Disability Services Queensland and overseeing the data entry associated with this (over 8000 calls were made);
  • Conducting consultations for the evaluation of the Drug and Alcohol Consultation Liaison Services for NSW Department of Health;
  • Conducting consultations with consumers and staff of Mind SA to inform the development of a consumer participation framework to enable recipients of Mind’s mental health services to be engaged appropriately to provide feedback on the services they receive.
